Removing the paint odor

Towards Christmas day or New Year it could not hurt to fix the appearance of our homes. Re-paint some walls of the house became one of the activities that can be done. Who knows with the courage to experiment with color will create a new atmosphere in the early year of 2012.

Before painting the house, first we must know the types of paint available on the market. After the paint action, question arises how to eliminate the smell of paint that had just applied on the wall?

There are several ways that are believed to repel the stinging smell of paint that is efficient and relatively fast, using objects that exist around the house.  Several bowls filled with water, and salt laid out in a room that have strong paint odor will help to reduce the odor within a few hours.  Another way is to utilize an onion. You do this by splitting onion into 2 parts, and then dip it into a large bowl or a bucket of water. Place it in a room that has just finished in the paint. A few hours later the smell of paint will not so strong anymore.

Placing a large bucket of water mixed with a spoonful liquid of ammonia in a room that have strong paint odor, can also eliminate the odor in one night. Another way is to hang a few cloves of garlic in front of the fan directed at the newly painted walls. This method is considered the most powerful way to get rid of the odor of the paint quickly.

Pulling nails from the wall

To make our home walls not look so bored and plain, we often give the decoration, like hanging a picture, photo on canvas, mirrors and other wall hangings decorations. Sometimes we make mistakes, while planting a nail in the wall. When we pull out the nail, sometime the walls cement also carried out and the wall become holey.

Tips:

Turn the nail to the right and left with the pliers slowly, when turning try not to bend nails. After a loose while slowly rotating the nail, pull it out like a screw. Nail holes should be patched with cement in white or white wall putty so the hole become invisible. Why white? , because white colors more easily covered with paint colors.

Other tips you can try are to apply the tape over the point to be a nail of, so tape will be laid between the nail and the wall, when we input the nail to the wall using a hammer.

3.Salt and Grass

Green grass grow on your yard  pleased to the eye. If it is grow to fast, of course inconvenient. We must hurry to mow, or it will become a grass thatch. Salt can become your rescuer. To slow down the growth of the grass use salt dissolved in water (the ratio 2:1). Watering onto the surface of newly mowed grass. As the result, you do not have to mow  too often again.

4.Tea for your Plant

To the one who like gardening, try this tips. Watering your plant with tea  (tea water that has been hushed overnight) or former meat washing water. Done routinely, your plants certainly will be more fertile.
